BAYA Collective presents: “Where the Mountain Touches the Shore” - the second exhibition we’ll be hosting this Summer in collaboration with artists Molk Bader and Rita Habib.

This exhibition takes us to the Mediterranean Sea as a space and spectrum combining different aspects together. As a natural spectrum, bringing together the mountains and the ocean, the land and the sea. There’s both a connection and disconnection between the two artists.

The connection can be found in a feeling that emerged from within…
the taste of mulberries in the mountain house
the freedom one feels when in the ocean

But there’s a space where both artists disconnect - as Rita Habib explores the need to bring specific knowledge and connect the internal and external space, Molk Bader yearns for freedom, a sense of identity that isn’t defined by cultural belonging.
