On Saturday July 29th, BAYA Collective and Extra City invite you for a new session of Candied Conversation where you join us for a meal, a conversation and a journey through someone’s artistic practice.

This session will be hosted by food artist, baker, writer and mushroom enthusiast Sadaf Malyar. Within her practice, Sadaf found solace within the universally celebrated warmth and magnetism of kitchen spaces. Her work erupted from the hands of her mother that taught her to cook, with roots that stem from Afghanistan. With her project β€˜Flatbread Society’, Sadaf founded a food project with the intention of creating awareness for badly affected communities in war-torn areas.
