What does a perfect chill day look like to you? 

I really enjoy visiting museums and looking at interesting architectural buildings. But I can also enjoy watching a murder documentary, that might not fall under the "chill" category, but I personally feel like they belong in there... 

What's your favourite artwork and if you were asked to create a design piece inspired by it - what would you create?

During the 2016 Milan Design Week I spotted the installation, ‘50 Manga Chairs’, by Nendo. With this installation he brought two worlds together, Japanese manga comics and furniture design. If I would create something that was inspired by his work, I would create a chair installation to bring my own dream world and furniture design together. Each piece of Nendo’s installations was constructed from stainless steel with a polished mirrored finish to reflect the surroundings. A very interesting material to work with, I would love to use that and create my own version of a chair installation. 

How would you describe the previous 5 years of your life and what have they taught you about your outlook on the future? 

Not easy, actually, pretty rough.. but I learned a lot. I learned to appreciate life and the people around me more. Do the things you love doing, the things that make you happy and bring you joy. I also learned that we can all be a lot kinder to ourselves and that life isn’t all about achieving things and proving oneself. Stay true to yourself, and follow your passion!

How would you describe the smell of your favourite cup of coffee?

I would describe them as tiny orgasms, or hugs from the inside.

If you could have dinner with anyone from the past or present, with whom would you have dinner and what would you order? 

Definitely Solange. We’d have several desserts, lots of fruit and a nice bottle of natural wine.
